Boost Soil pH Fast with Highly Reactive PFP Lime Prills

We ran a quick (and slightly fun) experiment in the factory – and captured it on video! Using regular household vinegar (a pH 4 acid), we tested how our PFP Lime Prills react compared to standard ag lime.

The result? A whole lot of fizz from the prills – and not much from the ag lime.

That fizz is carbon dioxide, released as the lime reacts with the acid – and it’s proof that PFP Lime Prills break down faster and get to work quicker. While coarse ag lime just sat there, our prills dissolved rapidly, releasing the lime and reacting immediately.

Why does this matter? Because in your soil, this faster breakdown means faster pH correction and quicker availability of lime to your plants. PFP Lime Prills are made from ultra-fine limestone particles, pressed into easy-to-spread 2–6mm prills. They dissolve quickly with moisture, letting the lime get straight to work in the soil – not months later like with traditional lime

So if you're after faster results, easier spreading, less dust, and proof that it actually works – go with PFP Lime Prills
